Int'l Wine Cellar: "(100% cabernet sauvignon, made from purchased fruit from five properties stretching from Spring Mountain to Coombsville) Good full ruby-red. Cassis, licorice and bitter chocolate on the nose. Juicy and fruit-driven, with good cut to the flavors of cassis, spices, mocha and minerals. Offers good density but comes across as a bit tight today. Finishes with substantial chewy, slightly drying tannins." (05/2009)

The wines of Hollywood & Vine were made by industry veteran Celia Welch who has worked as a consulting winemaker for ultra-premium wineries in the valley for several decades. She makes wine for Scarecrow and has her own label called Cora.
