Int'l Wine Cellar
“Saturated ruby-red. Tangy aromas of raspberry, violet, red licorice and flowers. Silky-sweet but sappy; lusher and larger-scaled than the Sentiers but not yet revealing its full personality. This extremely impressive, intensely flavored pinot noir is almost too big for its terroir. (ST)” (03/2002)

“Not as dense as the Sentiers but finer and certainly more elegant with lightweight, dusty tannins that lead to an easy but long finish. This is remarkable in that it carries the alcohol effortlessly and still delivers plenty of finesse. The flavors are seductively supple and this is already relatively accessible. Beautiful, balanced with terrific length in a very ripe style.” (09/2002)
