Wine Advocate: "This wine has a bright, medium-to-dark ruby color and a delightfully elegant and fresh nose of violets, roses, blueberries, and cherries. It explodes on the palate with layered and deeply ripe black cherries, mocha, and toasted oak flavors. Int'l Wine Cellar

Very good medium red. Musky, high pitched aromas of raspberry, strawberry and flowers. Intensely floral but closed in the mouth; showing limited flesh today. But juicy and firm, with lovely inner-mouth perfume and bright framing acids. Solid tannins contribute to the wine's impression of backbone. Will require patience. (ST) (03/1999)
