1984 Beaulieu Vineyard "Georges de Latour Private Reserve" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1984 Beaulieu Vineyard "Georges de Latour Private Reserve" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. BV's flagship wine, which is named for the founder of Beaulieu Vineyard, from the warm vintage of 1984. According the the winery's collectors' notes, the wine shows a maturing, medium full ruby-garnet color: "The bouquet is nicely elegant, with mint, berry and sweet cherry aromas that show more richness and depth than the palate. The flavors are slightly stewed (it was a warm vintage), yet also a bit acidic, while showing quite a lot of fullness."
