“The 2011 The Bard is soft, floral and easygoing, with lovely bright red berry fruit. Wild flowers, savory herbs and mint add freshness to this pretty, nuanced wine. The 2011 is super-expressive and very pretty, but it is also a bit lithe. I wouldn't push my luck too much further with aging. There are no angular contours whatsoever in this supremely inviting Cabernet Franc-based red. Today, the 2011 is a bit tight, but it should soften with further time in bottle.
