Wine Advocate: "Medium to deep garnet-purple in color, the 2013 Fortification explodes with incredibly pure notes of blackcurrant cordial, baked plums, raspberry preserves, chocolate-covered cherries and dried mulberries with touches of preserved mandarin peel, cloves, espresso and Indian spices. Full-bodied, oh-so-rich and oh-so-decadent, the palate delivers layer upon layer of bramble fruit compote, exotic spices and savory flavors, all framed by firm yet beautifully plush tannins and finishing epically long.
