Wine Spectator

Deceptively rich and layered, with a loamy earth and cranberry edge to the medley of red berry and dusty earth flavors. Pure, clean and focused, this is tight and closed, so best to cellar short term. (JL) (07/2012)

Vinous

Bright red. High-pitched, pure aromas of cherry, raspberry preserves and fresh flowers. Suave, expansive and sweet but also tangy and sharply defined, offering spice-accented flavors of raspberry, cherry-cola and minerals. Impeccably fresh and energetic pinot with striking intensity, sappiness and floral persistence. (ST) (05/2012)

Wine Advocate

The 2010 Pinot Noir Little Hill is one of the more layered, textured wines in this lineup. Freshly cut flowers, sweet exotic spices, mint, orange peel and black cherries are woven together beautifully in this expressive, seductive Pinot. Layers of fruit build effortlessly towards the dramatic, layered finish. The main clones are Pommard, Rochioli and a Vosne-Romanee suitcase clone. (AG) (02/2012)
