Va Piano Vineyards was founded in Walla Walla, Washington by fourth-generation Walla Wallan Justin Wylie, who began making wine in his garage before launching his first commercial crush in 2003. The estate program draws on three owned vineyards across the Walla Walla Valley AVA, ranging from 850 to 1,400 feet in elevation on silt loam, glacial loess, and hillside soils straddling the Washington-Oregon state line.
