Professional Reviews

92

Wine Enthusiast

This low-production Pinot Noir is dry, silky and enormously complex, with cherry pie, Dr. Pepper, bacon, anise and white pepper flavors, plus a woodsy suggestion of pine needle. Oak aging adds the perfect touch of smoke. Good as it is, it should improve in the bottle over the next 4–5 years. *Cellar Selection* (12/2012)

90

Wine Spectator

Seductive smoky oak dominates, yet there's much to admire underneath, as this weaves a complex mix of black cherry, wild berry and forest floor with a dash of cola. Ends firm and tannic in a good way. (JL) (09/2012)
