“Made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon coming from the State Lane area, the 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Yountville District Collection was aged in French oak, 38% new. Deep garnet-purple colored, it reveals fragrant notes of Morello cherries, black raspberries, cassis and tilled soil with nuances of bay leaves, cast-iron pan and cloves. The medium to full-bodied palate is chock-full of juicy black and red berries, framed by firm, fine-grained tannins and a lively backbone, finishing long and lifted. 319 cases were made. 92+ (LPB)” (02/2021)
