In 2000, with Hobbs' assistance, Walker started his own label, Walker Station Vineyards. The pair now share the grapes from Walker Station Vineyard equally. In 2001, the Leslie Ranch Vineyard was planted to Pinot Noir, named after Walker's mother's family. The first Pinot Noir from this vineyard was vinified by Paul Hobbs in 2005. The Walker Station wines are sold through the website store."
