Titus Vineyards is a family estate just north of St. Helena on the Napa Valley floor, with land history extending to 1841 and continuous farming since then. Dr. Lee Titus purchased the property in 1968 and replanted the vineyards to all five classic Bordeaux varieties, with the family's first commercial crush in 1990 under sons Phillip, who serves as Director of Winemaking, and Eric, who manages the winery and vineyards. The estate farms two distinct sites — the Ranch Vineyard on the valley floor and the Ehlers Lane Estate Vineyard on dense volcanic soils a half-mile north — and grew grapes for Charles Krug, Beaulieu Vineyards, and others before launching the Titus label.
