“Mid amber colour. Really savoury evolution bordering on over-mature! Specially chosen to serve to David Boobbyer, who says he loves old champagne. Wine to really soothe a sore throat. Only just fizzy but that suits me… Undertow of wax and nuts. Then lovely green foliage on the end. I see we have only an unsatisfactory note on the P2 iteration of this wine, but I think this bottle is looking splendid … if fully mature! 18/20 points (JR)” (11/2022)
