Bright red-ruby. Lovely, perfumed aromas of raspberry, redcurrant, mocha, cedar and tobacco. Silky-sweet and classy, with excellent vinosity and grip. This wine has put on weight since the last time I tried it a few years ago. Finishes firmly tannic and persistent. An excellent showing. (ST)
