The Tom's Foolery Distillery outside of Cleveland is easily one of the most exciting craft distillers in the States. Tom Herbruck is a true distiller, who fell in love with the craft as a kid distilling his fathers wine as a hobby. When he began to take it seriously he made the incredibly prescient move to acquire a historically significant set up from the old Michter's Distillery in the Schaefferstown, PA. For several years, Tom distilled a variety of single barrels of various mashbills and was able to make a name for himself releasing some of the first craft bottled in bond American whisky since the craft boom started. He's since sold the old pot stills and replaced them with a gorgeous pair alembic stills from France, but he continues to make extremely high quality whisky and applejack and sell it for very reasonable prices.
