Offering impressive fruit purity and power, it's instantly appealing with green rockmelon, passionfruit, kiwifruit and kaffir lime notes on the nose, followed by a concentrated palate delivering excellent weight and juicy fruit intensity. Wonderfully fruited and hugely appealing.

Bright, pale yellow, even colour throughout. The nose is softly full and lifted, nuances of lime, fresh-cut herbs, melded with gooseberries, guava and white spice. Medium-light bodied, aromas of guava, lime, mango layers entwined white spice and cut herbs. The flavours have intensity and depth, support by well-balanced lively acidity. Fine-textured, chalky phenolic carry a hint of sea salt linger to linearity. This is a refined Sauvignon Blanc with well-defined layers of tropical fruit, herbs and spices. Match with sweet & sour fish and steamed mussels over the next 3-4 years. The fruit was sourced from the Dillons Point and Wairau sub-regions, cool-fermented to 13.5% alc.

Full-bodied, almost luscious sauvignon blanc with passionfruit, guava, struck-flint, melon and lime flavours supported by fruity acidity and fine, peppery tannins.

Succulent, rich and intense, featuring apricot, dried pineapple and Key lime pie flavors, with a hint of dried herb and sea salt lingering on the finish, where the intensity gains momentum. (MW)

In the last few years, Rapaura Springs has become one of Marlborough’s breakout stars of Sauvignon Blanc. Originally a joint partnership between the Neylon and Wiffin families, they launched Rapaura Springs in 2007 with a focus on crafting wines in the vineyard–not in the winery. Over the years they have grown to manage their four vineyard sites in the Dillon’s Point and Rapaura subregions of Marlborough. Not one to shout their own success, Rapaura Springs has let the quality of their wines do the talking. And these days, it is speaking in volumes. The 2021 Rapaura Springs has all the hallmarks and profile of exceptional Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc, and so much more. Leading off with a razor’s edge of citrus and jasmine, there’s a near lemon-juice like quality that cuts through the tropical-laden center of this wine. Richly textured, there is an abundance of sweet, ripened guava and passionfruit across the palate. The finish here carries on and on. Simply crafted from extraordinary fruit sources, this is a refined, proper Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc that exceeds all expectations.

A beautiful sauv blanc from Marlborough. With soils watered from the Rapaura Springs, who's water journeys to the spring all the way from the Southern Alps, we have a clean, bright wine with strong flavors of key-lime, passionfruit, and kiwi that finishes on a nice touch of flintiness. Although initially acidic, it softens on the palate making for a delicious, tropical, and very easy drinking white wine.

Floral hints of jasmine & orange blossom, with notes of guava, lime, passionfruit, & saline. A refreshing, lively, well balanced Sauvignon Blanc.
