26 barrels make up this specatcular Bottled-In-Bond Rye from Redwood Empire. Produced grain to glass in Sonoma County this release is a major milestone for the distillery that is taking the whiskey world by storm. 87% rye, 7% malted barley, and 6% wheat. Similarly to the Grizzly Beast BIB Bourbon - the final mashbill is actually the result of blending multiple mashbills together for added depth and complexity. The 26 barrels that make up this batch included mashbills with rye content as low as 56% and as high as 90%. Distilled in Spring of 2016 and bottled in the Summer of 2021.
