Deep, dark, red-fruited nose. of boysenberries, nutmeg and milk chocolate. In the mouth, more boysenberry fruit, with hints of cranberry, minerals, and cinnamon. My biggest note on my tasting sheet is "Nice!!". This describes this wine to a T. Don't miss out on it!

This took my top spot in our recent Loire tasting. Quite a bargain for certified organic cabernet franc, Sensei has a complex and gorgeous bouquet of currants, lavender, stewed peppers, smoke, cocoa and baking spice. The rich fruit is deftly balanced by ripe tannins that still hold some grip, and a lifting acid line that keeps the richness fresh!
