Woody Creek's seasonal blue gin was so popular they moved it into a year round item. Now labeled Mary's Gin: using the highest quality local and imported ingredients it weaves a complex and approachable yet powerfully aromatic style of gin. They start with the gorgeous Woody Creek potato spirit, fermented and distilled in house. Then a complex infusion of 11 botanicals is added before redistillation. These include Rocky Mountain Juniper foraged by the distillery, local coriander, lavender, hibiscus, and angelica root. Dried yuzu peel, cinnamon, rose hip and cranberries, as well as fresh whole citrus (lemon, lime and orange). The distillation is then infused with three seperate concoctions- dried hibiscus, whole dried elderflower and butterfly pea blossom. Those three are blended together to give a balanced yet distinctive profile, while retaining the unusual blue hue that the butterfly pea imparts on the infusion.
