2019 Maison Henri Boillot Bourgogne Blanc

Decanter
Review Date: 01/2021A marvellous entry point to the range, this has expressive aromas of ripe apple and fresh white flowers, with just a hint of spice. On the palate, the wine is fresh and surprisingly lively. Produced mostly with grapes from Auxey-Duresses and St-Romain, slowly pressed in a vertical press and fermented in cask (5% new), with most of its lees. Drinking Window 2021 - 2029. (CC)

An impeccable example of Bourgogne Chardonnay with impressive length. Tasted: October 2020."
