Giesen "Zero" Sauvignon Blanc Marlborough (Dealcoholized)
K&L Buyer
Review Date: 12/2021
Over the last year, I've been asked more questions about the Giesen "Zero" Sauvignon Blanc than any other in the store. Much of this has to do with the fact that non-alcoholic wine and beer is starting to get more and more popular these days. The Giesen "Zero" is probably the best of the best when it comes to dealcholized wine. It's got bright acidity, real flavor, and comes pretty darn close to the original. Despite it's name, it actually has less than 0.5% abv, which is less than occurs in most fresh squeezed juices. With only 100 calories per bottles, this is a great alternative for anyone who can't have alcohol, but still wants to feel included at dinner.

Notes
Giesen's "Zero" Sauvignon Blanc is a unique wine from New Zealand's Marlborough region. Using the classic Giesen Sauvignon Blanc as a base, they remove the wine's alcohol with spun cone distillation, resulting in a wine with less than 0.5% alcohol, less than what naturally occurs in most fruit juices.
