A high (60%) amount of older Reserve Champagne has gone into this mature blend. It offers richness and a ripe structure that brings out the rounded white fruits. (RV)

Cinnamon and I drank this over the weekend, and found it a perfect treat for the apero. Champagne Dumenil is going against the trend for austerity and this is an open, rich, generous Champagne. I love the crusty toast and lemon bar flavors and aromas in this wine, as well as the long finish. This delights by being dry, but not at all harsh, and I could imagine this would be a fantastic Champagne for the hot tub!

This blend of 60% Meunier, 30% Pinot Noir, and 10% Chardonnay comes from exclusively estate-grown fruit in the 1er Cru of Sacy on La Petite Montagne de Reims. It's a fantastic aperitif wine and has surprising richness and concentration for the price.
