This medium-bodied ruby red 100% Cabernet Franc opens with tobacco scents and flavors of ripe red plum. This enjoyable and quaffable Bistro style wine is perfect for washing down light fare or sipping on its own and is clean, fresh, dry and thoroughly enjoyable.

Chateau de Pitray has a 600-year history under the close watch of the same family. Currently in the care of the Count and Countess de Boigne, the estate and its wines have gained greater exposure of late due to the efforts of Jean de Boigne, the son of the Count and Countess.
